Elephant Nature Park

Located just outside Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand, Elephant Nature Park offers a half-day ethical elephant experience focused on rescue, rehabilitation, and education. The experience runs for approximately five hours and includes guided walks through the sanctuary, opportunities to observe rescued elephants roaming freely, educational presentations about elephant welfare, a vegan buffet meal, hotel transfers from Chiang Mai, and experienced English-speaking guides.

 

The sanctuary is internationally recognised for its commitment to elephant conservation and its strict no-riding policy.

Nestled in the mountains surrounding Chiang Mai, Karen Elephant Home provides a full-day cultural and elephant conservation experience within a natural forest environment. Guests spend the day walking alongside rescued elephants, learning about traditional Karen culture, feeding the elephants, and exploring the surrounding landscape.

 

The experience includes return transfers from Chiang Mai, a traditional vegetarian lunch, guided activities, admission fees, and cultural insights from local Karen guides, creating a meaningful and immersive experience focused on sustainability and respect for wildlife.

Cambodia Wildlife Sanctuary

Located in the Siem Reap region of Cambodia, the Cambodia Wildlife Sanctuary offers a seven-day volunteer program focused on wildlife conservation, environmental restoration, and elephant welfare. Volunteers assist with preparing food for rescued elephants, maintaining habitats, planting trees, supporting sanctuary operations, and participating in daily conservation projects.

 

Accommodation, meals, educational experiences, and volunteer activities are included throughout the week, creating a hands-on opportunity to contribute directly to wildlife protection while observing elephants living in a more natural and protected environment.
